About us...
Jazzit is Canada's leading supplier of premium CaseWare
templates for accountants. Its products include Jazzit Fundamentals,
Jazzit Checklists and Jazzit Score, creating a powerful suite of
automated solutions for SME practioners. Jazzit Fundamentals, the
flagship product, is an integrated suite of templates that assists
public accountants in completing year-end engagements with their
corporate clients. With offices in Calgary, Alberta, and Kelowna,
B.C., Jazzit's software serves over 5,000 accounting professionals
across Canada. Founded in 2000, Jazzit gives back to the national
accounting and technology communities by supporting initiatives
and providing scholarships to partners such as the Chartered Accountants

National Sales Manager (full-time)
We need a passionate National Sales Manager
to join our team full time.
This is a key position to help drive the continued revenue growth
for Jazzit as we pass the milestone of over 5,000 users across Canada.
You are a seasoned sales professional that has sold software to
accountants before. Preferably, you have an accounting designation
(or are a student pursuing their designation), and perhaps are looking
for something different than public practice. You've got a strong
knowledge of Canadian accounting principles. You also love software,
and love showing prospects how it can make their lives better.
Your tasks include:
- Maintain an executive level contact with customer base, primarily
public accounting firms across Canada.
- Present Jazzit to prospects using both web presentation tools
and in-person.
- Follow-up on active leads; identify and solicit cold and warm
leads
- Develop and execute ongoing sales conference and trade show
strategy including scheduling resources, managing lead-in promotions
to events, staffing the events, and measuring and reporting on
success of each event.
- Maintain, improve and report on sales pipeline
- For the right candidate, you'll provide strategic input into
sales planning and revenue growth, including feasibility studies
for growing both an internal and national sales team.
You have excellent Microsoft Office skills, and even better people
skills. Preference will be given to those that are familiar with
CaseWare, especially those that have experience with Jazzit Templates.
Needless to say, your verbal and written skills are impeccable.

Software Support Specialist (full-time)
You'll join our tight-knit client service team to help accounting
customers across Canada by:
- Assisting clients with getting started
- Applying your accounting and technical skills to help customers
via email and phone.
- Taking an active part in the development of the software
- Participate in the delivery of training services
You've got a strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles
and have applied them in practice for a couple of years, at least.
But, you feel like you want to get out of public accounting, and
looking for new challenges leveraging your skill set.
Mandatory:
- Experience using Caseware, and even better if you've created
templates in CaseView
- An accounting designation or are pursuing a designation as a
student
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Email and phone style that is conversational, friendly and professional.
Preference will be given to those with:
- Prior experience with Jazzit templates
- Exceptional general computer skills and Microsoft Office skills

CaseView Developer (full-time)
We need a rockstar CaseView Developer to join our team full time.
Your tasks will be to help analyze customer needs and code elegant
solutions using CaseView, the reporting language provided by the
CaseWare Platform.
You've worked for several years already coding CaseView templates,
most likely in an accounting firm. You have a strong understanding
of CaseWare Working Papers, and are the "go to" person
in your office when it comes to coding CaseView templates. Now you
want to use your skills to create scalable best-in-class software
solutions for accounting firms across Canada.
Preference will be given to those who have an accounting designation,
or are pursuing a designation as a student.
Extra points if you've also got experience with Jazzit templates.
If you've also trained others on the use of CaseView, then you're
an exceptional fit.
Preference will be given to those that also have general programming
skills and education.
Exceptional general computer skills are mandatory, of course.
